I was formatting my microSD when I discovered this

Does it matter what I put for the volume label? I was thinking of naming it something funny but I'm afraid it would ruin the micro SD. By the way, I use this Micro SD to store my DS games.

So if I name it, do I have to format it again?

You can just edit the name whenever if you want to. And during formatting it's just there in case you have man drives like I do. I just name mine like SCDSTWO or AK2i [Insert Name Here].

you're limited to 11 characters and no spaces, but other than that you can name it anything.
