    Ok.

I want to read the images of a site (I'm not gonna post the link 'cause it's warez).

    The directory is:

    Code:
    www.*name*.com/images/
Can I view that directory with all the images on the website?

    I get a 404 error.
I just want to view the directory of the site.

    So:
    Code:
    www.*name*.com/images/
I want to view the files in the '/images/' folder.

and it gives a 404, meaning the site isn't set up to allow indexing.

You can't view a site's FTP unless the owner allows you to.

it isnt necessarily ftp, it can be done over http if directory indexing is enabled, which in this case it isnt. its a security risk anyway.

    Ok thanks for the info.
I am guessing there is no way around the 404 error...?

Why are you so determined to do something the website owner clearly doesn't want you doing?

Just want to see if it is actually possible.
I'm sure it is, I just don't think it will be easy as I thought.
