video's for psp

how do i run video's for psp? it always says ''unsupported data''.

-i am running custom firmware 5.50 GEN (full)

-the file is .AVI

 

I think PSP runs avi files.

Though I'm not sure on that.

It runs MP4 I know for sure.

PSPs only run .mp4.... Your gonna nead to convert your .avi to make them play on the PSPs....

You can always just google Free AVI to MP4 converter..and I use that one..the actual name is "Free AVI to MP4 converter" xD

Use a program called Format Factory, it converts all kinds of file formats. If you want the video to be the size of the whole PSP screen, set the converter to convert to mp4. Then change the video size to 480x272 with the video codec set to AVC (not sure these are the correct letters) and enjoy. Works great for me so far.
