Very slow downloads on premium

    Hi..

    I've been getting the 'regular members can't download more than one file at a time' message for a few months regardless of the fact that no downloads are running.

    So, today I decided to purchase one month's premium as there's a few games I would like to download for my son.

    Anyway, the download speeds are kinda slow and I was wondering if there was a reason for that? At the moment, I'm downloading a Pokemon game at about 35kb/s which is a bit poor. My download speeds are fine and other websites are loading pretty quickly.

    Any suggestions please?

    We actually recently noticed slow speeds and complained to the host and they said they recently changed bandwidth provider and routes might take a while to stabilize. For now, please provide me a traceroute to www.romulation.net by PM.

    If we cannot do anything about the speeds we will issue you a refund.

    I am also having a problem, ever since the HDD crash. I can only get about 50KB/s when I try to download Wii games. I have been premium specifically because of increased speed and multiple file downloads. It worked fine before. Should I trace route as well?

    A trace route would help yes. The host acknowledged the problem last time and said they'd work on it but another trace route cannot hurt. I'm still giving them some time to improve it before I'm going to complain at them, though.

    I've updated the host with the situation. If they do not get back to me with a deadline for when the issue will be fixed then we'll be moving to a new host who can provide the level of quality that's needed.

    Hi..

    Thanks for the support on this matter, I appreciate your time and efforts.

    I'm happy with the resolution offered and consider the matter closed.

    However, I forgot to cancel my automatic subscription and the payment went out of Paypal for another month's subscription. I haven't logged in to download anything since the new payment went through so I would appreciate it if I could have a refund if possible please?

    I have since cancelled the subscription but as I don't plan on using the service over the next 30 days or so, I can't justify the expense for something I'm not going to use.

    I recently got a premium membership. Everything was fine at first, but now I only get around 50kb/s.

    Seph, I am PM'ing you a traceroute.

    Btw, is it possible to use jdownloader on premium files? I can't get it to recognize them. Thanks.

    not jdownloader. IDM works.

    I believe we're trying to sort out moving server providers.

    I got IDM and not only does it work, but it downloads much faster. Thanks!
