vba link problem

    i have vba 1.8 and i want to trade pokemon between rube and emerald and i have read several sites but none answer my wuestion i keep getting communication error and i have fiddled with the timeout just dont know what to do

    It might just be an incompatibility. A few others have experienced the same issue.

    Does VBA Link work between different games yet, or is it still only for same game communications? I can't remember.

    I don't know about the 1.8 beta versions...but it works with the latest stable version 1.7.x...VBAlink, I mean...

    TirithRR, some have had success with the various Pokemon versions, and Legend of Zelda.
