Great band, though how they play up the whole "we're Ivy League! Aren't we unique!" thing kinda pisses me off. I mean, ooo wow, you made it through the meat grinder that is Ivy League education and instead of landing a 6/7 figure job became an indie pop star... Good career choice there. Really though, their first album was my go to album when it came out. Favorite memory is seeing them at the Pitchfork Music Festival that summer (2008), and it had just got done raining so the grounds were flooded in parts, and the only spot I could find to watch them was in this giant mud puddle, so my friends and I, being three or four sheets to the wind drunk, parked in that puddle and just danced and sang and drank more and smoked and had a great time, while a bunch of hipsters stood there scoffing at us. Ahhh... Memories.
