Valkyrie profile help!

    Hey!

    I was wondering if one of you could help me with this game.
    I went trough the first battle, the guy died and all of that. Next I come to a map. When i go to the city, all I can do is buy stuff and read stuff. There is nowhere else I can go.

    Please help me!!!
