Using links for online games....

    Hi.
    Well, im probably definetedly not the only person on romulation.net forums to play online games, where getting friends and etc to click a link helps you
    so, iv started this thread, coz i know lots of people who cant find anyone to click the links:
    ill start with mine

    oh and by the way, im not sure if this is in the right area, so tell me if its wrong :)

    Oh god not this game again.....and isn't masking the link against the rules?

    and im not masking!!! its actually bitefight!! im being honest! even click it, i just added a description!!!

    and masking is like putting a different name on a link, so when u right [ url= *SITE GOES HERE* ] *writing goes here* [ /url ]
    so i wrote *removed*
    but without the spaces :p

    No i just thought the site didnt allowed you to hide the link. You actually had to post the whole proper link there. You cant rename it or anything.

    but, how come? that sucks, lots of people do it in their sigs!
    thats not fair, i think that rule should be changed if the "mask" is similar to the actual link!!

    we don't change our rules because someone thinks they are unfair. However, in this case solus is mistaken, there is no rule about masking links. There is, however, a rule forbidding referral links, which is a link from which you gain a benefit when people click it.
