Well, when i insert my flashdisk on my comp it automatically gives me options on what i want to do which is all fine and dandy. But when i closed that box and tries to open the flashdisk content in My Computer, it has this "open with" bullshit. and when i tried it on my other comp, avg detected a trojan shit which you call heal and like it has the heal as power save or something... darn i didnt printscreen it for info...

But good that its in my virus vault:

    Trojan horse Dropper.Generic. BGOW

The other one after that virus is:

    Trojan horse PSW.OnlineGames3.VWJ

I'm trying online how to fix this without reformatting. hope somebody here can help me in fixing this. And PLS. dont tell me to reformat my entire comp...

AVG should tell you which files are infected, copy all the other files off and reformat the flash disk.

Thank you, i'll do that. But another query, is that virus on my computer or just the usb? cause when i used other usb flash disk, it comes ok, but when plug to my other laptop, avg detected it again....

It is just the USB drive.

My MP3 Player does that occasionally, but I don't see how I could have a virus on it if all the music on the MP3 is ripped from cd's using WMP... false positive most likely

viruses travel on files when copied sometimes. i once had a trojan called amvo before i started using windows for internet again. it was on my psp mem stick and all of my flash drives. not there anymore!!

USB and other Media (such as SD cards, etc.) can spread virus really quickly. Autoplay would allow the viruses to enter your PC faster. I suggest you copy everything important (another reason why you should back-up your stuff) stuff and re-format. Before you re-format, scan your PC followed by the copied files. If there is a virus somewhere in the files, delete them and right-click onto your USB and click on Proerties. If there is something there (someting that is occupying a part of your USB) then you know that there is still a virus hidden in there. Now you can re-format yor USB safely!

    P.S. happy holidays!

i use total commander for safety... i open my flash disk in total commander, if there's any suspicious file/folder, i delete it... and then i'll copy my data... i never save data in flash disk for long term anyway... and i always re-format it after i backup all of my data in flash disk....
