usb controller/adaptor issue with project 64

    I have this usb adaptor for my psx/ps2 controller and when i try and configure the buttons in p64 it keeps coming up with "the input selection you made is already in use" when it isnt. it doesnt even allow me to put in a button before this comes up. i have configured half the buttons and they work fine, but it would be much easier if the rest would work. any help would be appreciated.

    Does the controller work on other games or emulators?

    Try pluging in the controller before you start the emulator, some are just touchy.
