US Repubs:Until the rich get their money, 9/11 responders can drop dead!

So basically, this is a bill that would help people who got sick when they responded to the tragic events on 9/11/2001.
But for Senate Republicans, people who are sick because they helped the country, are not as important as rich people who might get a slight tax increase.
So every single Republican has vowed to not allow any bill to pass until their corporate masters get their money.
Well,what is your opinion on this?
I know there are a few American conservatives on this board, so i would really like to know how the hell do you make this fit your belief that republicans are for the middle class?

 

Well republicans are power hungry, so when the bill was filibustered they are willing to get more off of the general population than what they already get paid for doing. They are never up for the other classes as we all know that once the official recieves his seat in office the individual is entitled to do whatever he pleases by smooth talking.

The only reason that they did not pass the bill was because of them not wanting to get taxed in the first place, which takes a butt load off their salaries. Politicians recieve way more money than any of us ordinary people will ever get. Their wages are what...around the six digit numbers. Before any of those republicans get a tax cut, their wages are the only thing that makes them become conservative...

 

If i understand what you are saying, it is that the reason Republicans want the tax cuts is for their own interest?
As in, so their own tax cuts won't increase?
Well, the Dems want(ed) to allow them to expire only for households making over $250,000/year.
That wouldn't apply to most Senators since they only make around $174,000/year.
I don't think it's so much about the money coming out of their own pockets, but rather out of the pockets of the corporations that pay for their elections.
I do agree with you on the smooth talking though.
Republicans know how to make the middle class vote against their own self interests.
Just talk about Jesus and patriotism, and bam, the American People will follow you to the ditch.
On the other hand, the Dems suck at this, and it's just sad to watch them as they attempt to convey any message to the public.
They will bend over backwards to try and make the people like them.Bend over so much, that they usually just fall on the floor, everyone laughs at them, and end up taking the Republicans side.

It just boggles my mind how come the people don't find it strange that Repubs are now ready to "compromise" with the most evil communist muslim nazi president this nation has ever seen.

Yeah, i find that is taking human rights a bit too far.
It's actually more about freedom of religion, i would guess.
But still, it affects others human rights.

 

It's like you guys have too much of what we lack, and vice-versa.

 

There is more foreigners than ever now and were letting in thousands more every week even though there is no jobs and no houses and the government cant afford to support them.
Its their right though, so we just have to sit back and watch the country crash. We hand out free money and council houses houses to anyone entering the country so theres no wonder were overrun, I don't blame them one bit. Its only the equivalent of me moving abroad for better prospects.
There becomes a point when rights have to be ignored or changed, for the good of the entire country.
Just heard on the radio there is 250,000 unemployed just in Yorkshire where I live.

 

Yeah, i guess every country has their own problems, and their own idiots.
Still, based on what i read over the interwebs, i think Norway or Sweden are good places to live.
And here in the American Continent,i bet Canada would take the cake.

 

Ive been to Norway, its mega expensive, and mega cold. I hear sweden is much the same, I was talking about this earlier on another forum with a swede.
