So I scanned my PC using AVAST 5 today and I came apon a virus named:
Win32:Hupigon-ONX which was in a file named hiberfil.sys
Does anyone know what hiberfil.sys is because it's like 235MB big and it contains a virus which AVAST caqlls it High in danger.

Not enough time to search on Google and I had to leave. Be back soon.

its the hibernation file where windows stores the contents of your ram when you hibernate the computer. the size is the same size as the amount of ram you have.

You probably had a virus a while back, hibernated the computer with the virus, and the hibernation saved the virus. I'd disable hibernation.
