Uploading games

Hello,can someone advise where I can find information so I can

1.Upload kids games onto this site
2.Transfer bought games onto my R4DS card.

I would like to test it out on "Roary the Racing Car",as I see thats not on here.

p.s My son is autistic and he prefers all his games on the r4ds you see

This tutorial will show you how to get games off of your real game cards and put them onto your R4.

You will need a wireless network connection that is compatible with the DS to do it.

As far as DS games go, if it's not on romulation.net then a dump isn't available. The only way ROMs become available is if someone dumps the game using the method in that tutorial, and then shares it. If you have games that aren't listed, you can send them to Seph and he will make sure they get out.

You can put games in the trading station but you can't upload to the site
You can download games for the R4DS from this site but you can't get the data from bought games on to the card (saves)

Sorry,Ill try to elaborate.I want to transfer a game I just bought onto my R4DS card,how do I do that.Secondly,I would like to upload that game and all the others I have to a site like this one,how do I do that.I know how to download ROMS and put them on my r4ds card,but thats all I know.

 

Yes, you can. You do it the same way you make dumps.

Ages? A few minutes.

Save files are tiny. Most are 512KB or less, with a few being 1MB.

And you can do it using the NDS Backup Tool to backup the files directly.

 

My last post seems to have vanished.That guide looks far too complicated for me to do,Im no expert.So how do I get that Roary game onto this site,as if its there,I can download it and put it onto my r4ds card

 

Depending on the size of the file, you might be able to use a Slot 2 card like the EZFlash 3in1 expansion pack to dump the game. But the easiest way is the Wireless method using FTP.

You can download the NDS Backup Tool 3 in 1 from http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/ under Essential Utilities. I believe that one lets you backup Games and Save Files directly to your Slot 2 device, so you don't have to use FTP or wireless. But of course there is a limit to the size of the game, since the Slot 2 devices only have 32MB of RAM to use.
