upgrading r4?

    does anyone know how to "upgrade" the r4 to enable it to play the newer roms??

    Errr, go to the r4 site, and update the firmware to 1.11.

    you mean the firmware? if so, this is how:
    1)download this http://download.r4ds.com/english/English-1.11.rar

    2)then take the "_DS_MENU.DAT" and the "_DS_MSHL.NDS"

    3) copy them to the root directory of your R4 to and replace the old files.

    and that should be it. also, if you don't have an English R4, then go to r4ds.com and get the kernel that goes with your R4,

    Sorry i'm new to this but i can't acces the above site on the internet to get the upgrade files, and i didn't get a cd with r4, any other ways to get upgrade.
