Upgrade R4 to work in DSi

    I have a normal R4. Is there a way of upgrading this to allow it to work in the dsi

    No, there is a hardware difference, not a software difference.

    Invest in an acekard 2i.

    I picked up an AK2i as soon as my DSi came in the mail... Well worth it, especially since DealExtreme do them for less than $15 with free shipping anywhere in the world.
