upgrade confusion! URGENT help needed please!

    just turned my dsi on and when i try to access my r4i card it says "please upgrade software to support latest firmware" and it wont let me play anything or use my r4i card!
    Whats happened??

    If you meant :
    "Please upgrade hardware to support latest firmware"
    that happend to me before

    where did get you get your last kernel update , www.r4i-sdhc.com? note the hypen
    try the one on www.r4isdhc.com [no hypen] get the firmware here and try that

    I assume your using R4i SDHC/R4i Gold

    I have R4i SDHC 1.17b and its working fine [2009 Xmas Red one]

    Don't you just need to set back the system date? Pretty sure that was the fix for this issue.

    That is a fix, yes. But updating your firmware fixes it as well.
