I have a DS lite and an R4 SDHC card. I did a quick search and everything I found basically said make sure it isn't an Ultra, if its an Ultra this is what you can do. I'm certain mine is not an Ultra but you may know better than me. It looks exactly like this. Same box, same card, identical. Its been a year or so since I've used it so now its firmware is too old to play anything new. Its currently on the R4 kernel v1.34. Some games required me to flash it with a secondary menu called R4_Pandora. I imported Pokemon White from Japan on release but now I see you are hosting the Eu version, I would love to experience the game in english so ideally I want to run that rom. To sum that up, I want to be able to play Pokemon White on a R4SDHC cart using a DS lite. Thanks to anyone that helps.

Ok so I've downloaded that, formatted my microSD then copied it over. The cart boots up into the R4 menu but then automatically loads up YSMenu 6.53RGF It plays all my old roms so I'm assuming everything is working like it should, Thankyou for that part. However when I try to load up White, I get [Rom loading failed] load rom errcode=-5 Please reset the system. Any idea what I need to do now? or am I better off searching for another thread on the appropriate forum? Edit: Never mind, I found the problem and its all working now. Turned out the TTMenu in that link was missing a few files
I had the same issue when I picked my R4 up again with the release of B/W. I did some research and tried stuff out and ultimately decided that the Wood firmware for the R4 was the best. You can find it here: http://forum.romulation.net/index.php?topic=39701.0 I've had no problem playing B/W at all.

Can anyone tell me how far into the loading dose this errcode=-5 happen ? The only over option is either anuther R4 YSMenu "r4patch.dat" are DSTT "ttpatch.dat" anuther is needed in the TTMenu folder

I Got this excat same problem, this is my R4 Card is it the same as the first guys post? I have downloaded the recent release of Pokemon white (EUROPE) I've tried loading Wood 1.26 onto it but there are loads of different ones to gold and other ones? here is where i am lost. If anyone could post a direct link to the type of Wood file i need that would be great. Btw if anyone could post me a picture of their R4 SDHC root file and they are able to play pokemon white/black (EUROPEN VERSION) that would be great and make things so much easier. Ive got it !! Pokemon Black now running on my DS ;D This how to get it running on R4sdhc Revolution for DS 1st download these 2 files and put them in seperate folders http://filetrip.net/ajax.php?action=download&id=24241 Put this one in folder 1 and extract http://filetrip.net/l24240-RetroGameFan-Multi-Cart-Update-6-53.html Put this one in folder 2 and extract Go into folder 2/Extras and extract Panasonic SD Formatter and install to your PC (Make a backup of anything on you SD card you want to keep) Open SDFormatter and find your SD card under Drive Go to option Format Type: FULL (Erase ON) Format Size Adjustment: ON and click OK Once your SD card has formatted Go to Folder 1 and DELETE TTMenu.nds and the TTMenu folder Go to Folder 2/R4_Clone YSMenu and COPY YSMenu.nds and the TTMenu folder, to Folder 1 then COPY everything in Folder 1 to the root of your SD card Now you can start up your DS create a save when prompted and then find your clean version of pokemon B/W (Google it) and put into the game folder NOW YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PLAY POKEMON B/W ON YOU R4SDHC !!
