Okay, about half of my drivers are outdated and so are a lot of my programs.
So I need a good site or software (payware or shareware, don't care) that can scan my computer for outdated drivers or something and find trusted links to download the updates from. Same thing for the programs.

they arent very reliable, you're better off manually looking up the latest drivers. Programs usually have a 'check for updates' button in the tools or help menu.

When you say manually look do you mean like Google and stuff?
'Cause I tried that earlier, I found a few links but not an actual direct link to any downloads.
That's what I normally do with the programs, but some of them don't have an update option.

generally you check the date of the driver you have, then head over to the downloads section of the hardware manufacturer's website and see what the date is on their newest version for that item of hardware.

Ah. Thanks Loony. How can I find the dates of the drivers?

right click on my computer, and choose properties. On the dialog box that appears, select the hardware tab and click the button labelled device manager. Go through each of the major categories (display adaptors, sound, video and game controllers, network adaptors and SCSI and RAID controllers) looking at the properties for each major device in the category. the 'driver' tab has the date on.
