so here's the problem, i updated my R4i Gold 3DS on my dsi, so i could update my dsi too, the upated said: succeeded. but now when i insert my r4 it doesn't recognise... it had the deep labrinth icon so. i already tried this: In case of card broken(no card found, no Icon displayed): Using the patch: R4iGold_3DS45_NDSi145_Patch_NDSL.nds You should get a NDSL and another flashcard(called "A"), which works properly on NDSL. 1.Download the latest WOOD R4 firmware from *SITE* and unzip it to the root directory of your tf card; 2.Copy R4iGold_3DS45_NDSi145_Patch_NDSL.nds to your tf card; 3.You should get a NDSL; 4.Just power your NDSL on and boot up R4iGold_3DS45_NDSi145_Patch_NDSL.nds with "A" card; 5.Take "A" card out of the NDSL; 6.Reinsert your broken R4i Gold 3DS card into the NDSL; 7.First of all, press KEY_B to check your cards's status 8.Press KEY_A and the updating process will begin; 9.You should keep your NDSL powered on during the updating process; 10.IF the result shows SUCCESS, it means you have updated your R4i Gold 3DS successfully and this card can work on NDSi V1.4.5 and 3DS 4.5.0-10; it sais: fail press key_a again.. can someone help? thanks
The most recent patch currently out for R4i is for revision C cards only. You may have the previous cart that will need to wait for a regular patch as the C patch is not working for me either. I'm currently on the same boat and will not update my DSi until patch comes out. Does your cart work on DSL or dsi version 1.4.4 or lower?
I have revision C thats why it' s weird Yes i worked on 1.4.4 and below, now it doesn't show an icon anymore.
I too am waiting for the revision patch for 3DS 4.5.0. I've had my r4i 3DS from r4ids.cn for a tad over a year now. The image on their news page leads me to believe that if you have a microSD graphic emboss on your card, that you have revision C. Based on the arrow pointing to the symbol in the photo on http://r4ids.cn/news.htm I don't have deep labyrinth icon, I think I updated out of that a few patches ago. I'm now on the nadal tennis icon. Is there a reliable way to figure out which revision of the card you are using?
