Sorry if this is againest the rules but I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything againest it.
And I did find that other topic started by Dr. Bed Love. But it didn't answer anything for me, so what I need to know is about the tools and the method needed to unpack and extract from GBA and DS roms?
I have looked all over google and nothing and I need all the sounds and sprites from some games.

You can use DSLazy to extract the contents of the ROMs.

Ya I actually figured that out while waiting for someone to respond, How ever when I do this all I get are the sound and sprites in weird file extensions, like .nanr and such, is their away to convert then to regular sound and image files?

Probably, but I don't know how. :) I think it varies game to game, depending on how the stuff is encoded in there.

Each game uses the same filesystem in the Nitro SDK; so the converted files will stay in the same format. Few games use their own particularly compression. There exist tools for the conversion/reverse engineer of .sdat files for example(and others inside this archive) to convert them to a mainstream format (.mid etc.). Some information on this are at http://tahaxan.arcnor.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category&sectionid=7&id=29&Itemid=36 and http://kiwi.ds.googlepages.com/sdat.html For conversion tutorial, search for it at http://ezflash.sosuke.com/

I believe Tahaxan should allow you to unpack the filesystem and view palettes etc. if you need them; you'll have to look yourself on the web for any information on the other formats. All of this post only refers to the DS though :)
