Unlimited speed for USA?

This is not fair...

We stick with 250 KB/s and they get unlimited speed

Is this an bug, or what?

 

There's standing "Unlimited Speed".

 

Loony, I can confirm this. I just went to download some arbitrary rom and it clearly says Unlimited Speed under the USA option. I have not actually downloaded anything to confirm the actual speed at which it downloads, but the label clearly says it.

This is something you might want to look into.

BTW, it was down today, around 14:00 in my time zone.

 

I tried downloading the first rom on the list and it averages about 150 KB/s, 170ish peak, so really it's not Unlimited.

I don't see any injustice on a 170 KB/s download.

OK, so now it's solved? Then this can be locked.

 

I Just tried to download a rom from the US server (yes i am in the US) and it took about 20 full seconds to open the box to download and even as a premium member it won't even hit 60k/s download. (started off at 12k/s then steadily got higher only to max out around 58k/s)
I Really hate not having the US server working at full speed because my speed on the EU server isn't anything spectacular either compared to how the US was.
Same file on the EU server.
Save box opened within 5 seconds, download speed was ~600k/s overall.
(used to get 900-1300k/s on the old US server)

 

That wouldn't be too awful bad i suppose.
Depending on the downtime and cost vs how much you get from donations/members/point buyers.
Start of next month i plan to buy a few stacks of points to help both of us out a little.

 

I think I am gonna donate something or get Premium...

They'll only lock threads if it's gone way off topic or it's gone AWOL and not going in it's intended direction (unless the mod is cruel and likes to watch the carnage...I hope we don't have mods like that).

Yoshi-Seph doesn't like locked threads because it's uninviting to look at on a forum, plus it leaves it open for people to ask for simerlar help (even though half the time they make a new thread anyway-or they just spam the current question thread and derail it )
