Universal child's play patch error

When I try to patch a ROM with Universal child's play patch it says "Can't find the universal code pattern to be patched" what do i do, how do i fix it, HOW DO I PATCH A ROM SO IT WORKS?????

It depends on the game. Rudolph's patch does not work with every game.

I'd like to add to this in the respect that this patch is mainly for (J) games and doesn't work for most carts.

 

how about if I get the (J) version of Warioware DIY and patch it then use a patch to put it in english?

This is a link to my thread with all the Universal Child's Play Patches. It also says that it's mostly for [J] games and that is doesn't work for most carts.

Also, WarioWare DIY is already fixed in every firmware.

 

So where is the fixed version for R4i gold then?

 

Maybe nowhere. R4i Gold doesn't have a whole lot of compatible fixes.

 

this is SO ANNOYING!!!!!! It's just one rom why is it so hard to find a patch for it!?
