Is anybody else Underwhelmed by Scribblenauts?
    It just seems a bit...

I'm kind of dissapointed too. It isn't anything huge or phenomenal. Entertaining and fun to play few minutes every now and then, but nothing special. Also the simple fact that I can't fully enjoy it without a dictionary, since english isn't my native language, kinda slows down the pace and lowers the enjoy-meter.

And yeah, after few hours of play, it gets kinda boring. But it is still good in small doces.

What would you expect-the game screams out "educational".

I even stopped playing sight training as it had too much of that going on despite me flying thru it...

But everyone is different-that's why I didn't bother downloading this game.

Besides-if I cn't spell right or use right grammer why bother playing it?

It tries to guess what you are trying to spell, and gives you a list of items if you spelled them wrong.

Yep, I enjoyed doing this too. :)

Anyway, I have lowered my expectations back then. This game has too many known flaws even at four weeks before release. The hype train was going too fast back then after the E3. :(

But I can say that this game still offer a lot to discover even after you completed all of the levels, it never fails to surprise me each time I turned on the DS to play it. :D

Before it was relased, I wasn't excited about this game at all, but now I love it :)
    It's good vocabulary (* :p ) practise, and it's fun.

    How is it practicing grammar?

The game only gives you nouns, you don't exactly write sentences so you can't practice grammar.

This game does nothing to practice grammar or even spelling.

yeah, it's not really practice unless you are using the same words over and over, which would make it boring.

Not impressed either. I couldn't believe the rubbish that this forum has been hyping up for months. Shame all the same.

it will really be boring if you sued common things to solve a problem.

ex. if you need to climb something to get a starlite, it's really repetitive to write "ladder" all the time. why not try "cannon", or "spaceship"?

Btw, the Level Creator is so much fun, specially when everyone's beating everyone. God is too imba though.
