Unable to use cheats

I cant use cheats on my ttds.
I use the ys menu.
I have a lot of games but if I try to boot one by clicking its icon, it freezes in the middle of its loading.
Soo, I have to get into the ysmenu through its icon then choose my game.
Because I have to do that, I cant use cheats.
Can anyone help me?
Do I need a new setup for my ttds and not ysmenu???

 

Try backing up and reformat your MicroSD. Also, accessing the Cheats menu can be accessed by however you do it (touch, key).

Here is a very quick guide I found on how to use Action replay codes on your R4 card.
I only give instructions for the R4 but this works on the M3 simply as well, you just need to get the newest firmware, 1.04.

This is verified by myself, and it works great

Ok first, you need the latest R4 firmware, v 1.18 (as of writing):

Next you want the Code Manager from Datel:
US version:

Update you MicroSD card with the new firmware
Install the Code Manager.
1. Under Subscriptions right click Codejunkies US Games and select copy if you want all or just do this for games you want.
2. Under My Codelists right click and select paste.
3. Let it import the games into your codelist.
4. Once it has completed go this folder:
C:\Program Files\Datel\Action Replay Code Manager\local_codelists

Find the XML, it should say something along the lines of customcodelist.xml

Open the Code Editor and go to file and press Import XML file.

Import the one you just made and then go to file and Save As cheat database. Save it as usrcheat.dat.

Now open the card again and navigate to the system folder. Copy the new usrcheat.dat file to that folder and you are done

 

He's using TTDS.However,the best solution that I used was edit your UsrCheat.dat file.It work for me.Also, https://www.romulation.org/forum/index.php?topic=1462.0

I dont know how to edit the UsrCheat. dat file and the common issues thread doesn't help.
Also, is there a new format for TTDS other than the ysmenu???

I have the latest firmware and I'll try reformatting my MicroSD.
But is there another way to format other than ys menu?
The other day I saw another format that started with "A".
My friend who has TTDS also has a different format.
Do you know any other format?

Though so.In order to use Cheat,you need to activate it.Like R4,you must on the Cheat enabled thing.TTDS too is not an exception.Okay,go to the cheat menu.Then,press left.It will bring you to the Option menu.

Is this incorrect?DMA Mode is in the Option along with Softreset.Nothing's wrong here.
