G'afternoon... I just signed up for the two month premium membership, to find that I can't download anything. At all. I was specifically interested in Tales of Symphonia for GC, and the table says it's downloadable. When I try to download I get "The connection has timed out" in Firefox. For good measure, I tried to ping the server the link tries to connect me to (us2.romulation.net), and get no replies. It does resolve DNS, though. Possible the server's down? And if so, will I get credited the downtime towards my two months? Cory
We know it sucks, the OS it's running on is having some serious issues which causes it to crash and become unresponsive, we're trying to fix it but I fear we might have to do a full reinstall of the server. We'll try to have it up as soon as possible.
The server is some troll indeed. I was all elated when it launched yeasterday, and all prepared to see the file by the end of this day... but NO, it's hanging again. :'( Seriously, guys, if you reinstall it, choose something that at least TRIES to fight Murphy's laws, not follow them blindly. Best of luck with that. *continues to stare at the download window, crossing his fingers*
Well, for the past few weeks since I purchased a premium membership I've tried multiple times to download Tales of Symphonia. Every time the page times out, and for hours I've run infinite pings with zero replies. I'm assuming this means the server is still offline. I don't know about you, but it only takes a few hours to reinstall an operating system. :-/
the issues are hardware related and we're trying to narrow down what hardware. It's kind of difficult when you're 10,000 miles away from the machine.
Thanks for the updates on the issues, do your best is all we ask of you guys. Been there for us for years we know you can do it!
