Well i am posting from my laptop now, all i had is to remove the atheros driver and the modem driver and reinstall them, then win 7 connected to the wi-fi network of my house.

This has happened to me before this is what I did:

    1. Go To Control Panel
    2. Select Device Manager
    3. Select Network Adapters
    4. Disable Realtek PCIe
    5. Enable It Again
    6. Your Internet Should Work Again

Yes. I can quite see that working with realtek chips.

Oddly in off it happened again after i had to isntall an atheros update and the realtek card i have is for audio, not to connect to wi-fi, all i had to do was reset the laptop and it worked again.

But here is a more entretaining question, in my house we have both an inalambric and an alambric one, both are filtered, here is the tricky part, if we disconnect either the connection to the internet goes down, but the thing is that the house has multiple points were i can put a phone wire, connect it to the modem, connect the modem to the apple router, etc. and yet if one of those phones is discconected the intertnet goes down for a few minutes.

your house isnt wired correctly if disconnecting an unrelated device causes the internet to drop. Each telephone point should be unaffected by devices connected or not to other points. (providing you dont have too many). I would suggest changing the filters and see if it improves. if not you need to rewire the telephone cabling in your house.

Not sure what you mean by alambric and inalambric
