    I run a psp 2000, with m33v6 firmware...

When the day the psp go! becomes hackable, I want to trade for one...

But until that day comes, I wish to have such information, I have a score to settle with EB games...

Also-the new CFW, gen, is that any good, and if so, can I switch from m33 to it?

Thanks for your help in these 2 matters...

yes, a PSP can be reverted to official firmware.

You can put the PSP to the official firmware by going to:

System Settings, in there you gonna find more menus, go down and then you gonna find a menu that says "Restore to default setting" go there and do all that ask and youre PSP will turn back to normal.

    Have you tried this?

All that does is switch the settings and preferances back to what it was...

But, you reminded me of the flash reset feature, prehaps i might try...later though

But how exactly-I have heard that switching from hack to official can be risky since hacked psp weren't meant to revert back.

IIRC when you update your PSP to a newer official firmware, it will overwrite the custom firmware.

    Really-I ehard it's wasn't that easy...

Oh well, I love/hate this machine, so if it does break, it won't mater much-guess when the day comes I'll try it, thanks man.

If you do sell it after you upgrade, why bother putting Official Firmware on it? You can get more for it if it comes pre-modded when you sell it to your friends.

My friends aren't into games, I'm gonna trade it at eb most likly-and they accept modded consoles-if one of my friends did want it then I would have thought of that option...

Plus it's just handy knowleedge-people on other sites say the same sort of line "why change back" and I thought if I knew, I thought I can help others.

BTW, this won't be until the new GO! becomes hackable XD
