umd not working?

    when i brought my psp to church a week ago someone found it when it fell out of my pocket but after i got it back it woudnt play the umd disk when i took it out it was scartched up pretty badly.
    but it was working right before i went to church cuz i was playing it before i went so how do i fix it?

    You're saying it fell out of your pocket right?

    The impact must have broken the lens of the reader.
    If that's the case, the only option is to take it in for repairs.

    I can fix it, but you'd have to send it to me. And buy a UMD drive for that model of PSP.

    It's not too hard to fix either.
    Just basically disassemble it and put it back together with the new parts.

    Yes the umd reader is broken because i tried playing prinny can i really be the hero and it had NO scratches or stuff like that and it woudnt play so....................
    how much are psp repairs?

    psp 3000
    bought it used at gamestop
    ive had it for nearly a year now

    I dont know if youd be better repairing it,or selling it as is and buying a Phat/Slim and modding that.Any repair Company seems to want an hours labour and like $15 for the part on top.
