I'm gonna download Ubuntu for my laptop, but am not sure if i'm supposed to use the Netbook or Desktop version.
And how the heck do I pronounce "Ubuntu" anyway?

    Personally, I wouldn't get either.

It doesn't matter I think which you get.

    It's pronounced Oo-boon-too.

I knew how to pronounce it before I googled it.
And any other OS' rhyming with Ubuntu are pronounced the same way.

    ie. Kubuntu = Koo-boon-too.

So which distribute do you recommend?

    You could try both.
Though, you may want the Desktop version since laptops are just portable desktops.
And the laptop is most likely either x32 or x64.

    So Collegehumor lied to me.
I'll take the Desktop version then. Thanks.
