    ==================
    Introduction
    ==================

Dolphin is an open-source Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and Triforce emulator for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac OS X (Intel-based), it is the first emulator to successfully run commercial GameCube and Wii games, and is still the only emulator capable of running commercial Wii games.

    • Minimum System Requirement
    * Operating System: Microsoft Windows (2000/XP/Vista or higher) / Linux / Apple Mac OS X
    (Intel version).
    * Processor: Any Fast CPU with SSE2 supported (recommended at least 2Ghz). 64-bit is a plus,
since that allows running the faster 64-bit Dolphin builds (which require a 64-bit operating system).
    * Graphics: Any graphics card that supports OpenGL 2.1 or DirectX 9.0c[13]

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Question :
    I can't hear any sound...

    Solution
Some 3rd party and MOST 1st party game don't have sound emulated yet.
All you can do is to keep updating the Dolphin and hoping it will work.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Question :
    I got an error message...

    Such as....
    "Error loading DLL Plugins/Plugin_VideoDX.dll"

    "Can't init DSP Plugin"

    "Can't open Plugins/Plugin_DSP_HLE.dll, it's missing"

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Question :
The game won't load or boot..

    Solution :
Always be REMINDED that not all game are supported or compatible with Dolphin.
The only way is to keep updating your Dolphin and hoping it will work.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Question :
The game crashes at certain point...

    Solution :
Since Dolphin is still in development, there will be a glitch or some crashing issues.
Try to tinker with few options in "Config" to enhance the compatibility with certain games.

    Below are some examples :
If you enable the "Safe Texture Cache"..
    - it fix some games compatibility whilst causing some problems to the other

If you disabling the "Optimize Quantizers"...
    - It fix the graphic problems in certain games. E.g, Resident Evil Remake

    Or you can just...
    - Save and quit the game before it freeze.
    - and then, disable the "Dual Core Mode"
    - Restart the game, and if it pass the glitch
    - Then, you need to save and restart again with the "Dual Core Mode" enabled.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Question :
"Failed to grab 1 GB of contiguous memory! Do you have an antivirus program that ....etc.. etc."

    Solution :
There are 2 fixes, and one of it may work...

    Fix #1
    - Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties".
    - Click on "Advanced" tab and click on the "Settings" button under "Performance".
    - Click on "Advanced" tab and click the "Change" button under "Virtual Memory".
    - Select the drive that contains your *game* .iso
    - Select "Custom Size" and enter in at least 1534 (MB) for the "Initial Size" field and at least 3048 (MB) for the "Maximum Size" field.
    - Click "OK" on all of the windows that were opened. You will then be prompted to prompt you to restart. Do it, then try dolphin again.

    Fix #2
    - Right click the "dolphinwx.exe" icon and click on "Properties"
    - Select the "Compatibility" tab, then under "Input Settings" check the "Turn off advanced text services for this program" box and then press "OK"
    - Restart Dolphin and try again.

    BUT!!
IF you have a program that is not allowing Dolphin to have the memory it needs, you need to uninstall
    the said program...
    E.g old version of Kaspersky.
