TurtleShare Bandwidth Limit

I downloaded a 860MB file about 7 hours ago using the regular (free) TurtleShare download link. Problem is, my internet got wonky at the 830MB mark so I have to re-download all over again (goodbye, 5+ hours of waiting...) I got this message, however:

How long will it take until the bandwidth limit is reset? And does anyone know the precise TurtleShare limits? Or is upgrading to a premium account the only way?

Any help will be much appreciated :)

If you used a download manager then resume, otherwise it's an hourly limit. Limit is 1 GB.

I'm getting the same error, even though I haven't downloaded anything in around 24 hours. The other day I download a 2 GB file so I'm not sure of the problem.

    Any help would be nice.

Files that are larger than the hourly limit aren't downloadable without a premium account.

    Really?

I was able to download the full Dot Hack GU series and that's a lot larger then 1GB all together and it didn't take me an hour.

    It's a recent development.

Hmm, the file I'm trying to re-download is less than 1 GB. It's been more than 10 hours and I still can't access it.

The limit kinda sucks, a lot of good games are way over that.

@tuna try clearing your internet cookies and cache then try downloading again, may just be a conflict

I see, thanks for clearing that up.

Edit: Yeah, This wasn't like that yesterday. So it's definitely a recent development.
    Any ideas on that?

In retrospect, makes me glad I got the games I was gunning for when I did.

Did that, tried two different browsers as well, but still hit a wall. Thanks for the tip, anyway :)

I'm currently debating vs. waiting it out (surely the bandwidth limit will be reset one time or another?) or jumping the gun on a premium TurtleShare membership :-\

If it still isn't working you may need to either renew your ip (some sites track usage by ip) or contact turtleshare, unless you actually want a premium in which case it doesn't really matter.

hmmm, i have a solution and that's work for me
if you have bandwith limit in turtleshare and you just use your free account member,
try to log out or sign out and make a new free account member using different email address,
after that, try to your download link,
and voila, there is no bandwith limit again
    thats work for me :D

And if you abuse that it will obviously be removed...

So even if I'm a Premium member of Romulation, I have to also be a Premium member of Turtleshare as well????

For PS2 yes. They're completely different services and we can't make RomUlation premium work there. We only host PS2 on Turtleshare because we do not have enough space on the RomUlation server to have them there. Basically it's either PS2 on Turtleshare or not at all.
