Good thing I browsed a bit before I posted a duplicate topic.

Anyway, I have this issue as well. Could SMF have broken down a bit?

I noticed it yesterday when I was trying to modify a post. I didn't make a topic because I thought Seph was doing something and those threads always just get closed. :p

    Is that necessary?

Seeing as this is the first time I logged in onto the forums using Dave since my un-foreseen "vacation" & that my browser (Fire Fox) updated on its own the moment Dave sipped the first trickle of internet in six weeks :p I thought that the Update messed up the browser's ability to access SMF Based forums, but I do know of a few other forums that use SMF, for example RHDN's & when I visited them I found that it was not the case. It seems this one's solely isolated to RomUlation's forums.

it would be nice if a mod would tell us what is going on

Actually a moderator might not even know what's happened as well. Seeing only an admin (either seph & loony) are the only ones who have access to the forum program's codes, unless Global moderators like TirrithRR & Reider has access to this codes as well though.

Maybe a mod has gone wrong installing...

Or one of the admins did mess up a part of the site again T_T

It happens on Opera as well.

This has nothing to do with SMF. It's me making modifications that improve the speed of SMF and filtering it back to SMF. I use RomUlation to test these things, sometimes that makes things mess up in locations where I don't notice it.

I must admit I find it a bit amazing that it generates this many replies and even someone posting at the official SMF forum...
