TTMenu/YSMenu on a R4I Gold Deluxe possible? If not, are there alts?

Having an issue with a specific game (Infinite Space) suffice to say,
I've never gotten it to work on the 3DS, while the NDS was never
an issue. Now, I was told I don't have the right "offset", but
was not sure of the use of TT or YS Menu on the card. Any advice?

As far as I can tell, I cannot find any "offset" option on the firmware's
options. Is it possible to patch the rom itself? Or is there another
option. Thank you for your time. I am looking for an answer elsewhere,
but I cannot find anyone discussing this specific topic.
