    This is stupid and crazy...
One day, I was opened up my DS and I saw a bug crawling on the DS.
I was worried that it would cause problems...
    Nothing really happend.
But my DSTT has holes in it.
And in the middle of a game it says:"The DS Card has been removed" even although I did not remove it.
    Any ideas???
And my DS is one year old, so should I replace it with a new one???

    ...what kind of "bug" exactly?

And where are the "holes" located?

Was the bug "in" your ds?

And have you tried the old "back up-reformat" trick?

I only asked if it's a spitting sort-it may have killed the card reader or the dstt.

Size means nothing-need legs or what kinda of "bug".

    Lady bug, spider...what was it?

(and I'm not joking-plus consider getting a case for your system in the future)

    ok thx.
BTW its a small micro mini bug. (Just really tiny, it could fit into the speaker holes)
Well the holes maybe because of something else.
Oh yeah, never really heard of that trick...
should i just get a new flashcart instead???
    like a CycloDS/M3DS?

    Try it first.

    The trick.

Copy the contents of the entire card to a pc, reformat it, then ram it all back in-why get another card if the current one works.

Also-if that fails try blowing into the cart reader slot hard (but avoid spitting)

Also, the paper trick. But there's no way a bug could chew through a card, the DS has more meat =P.

Just try blowing on the card itself or the sd card, maybe the bug was a coincidence and you cart was dusty. That happened to me while i was playing resident evil ds, so i blew on the cart and voila! worked, kupo.

Holes? Are they completely see through or just a bit off? Like someone said, reformat it hard...
