TTDS/DSTT update help

does any1 know how to update my TTDS \ DSTT also does it make some games like pokemon soul silver japanese version run cuz everytime i try it says the same thing rom error if so can u tell me how to fix it thanks in advance

 

Update your firmware to 1.17a12 if you haven't. http://www.linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/

 

To update your DSTT, you should first backup all your games and save files (copy them to your computer) just incase.

Then format your MicroSD (never hurts to start fresh).
Then download the latest firmware for your flashcart, in this case 1.17a12

Extract the files and copy them to your MicroSD.
