ok ran an overnight virus scan and it came up with 8 infections, all 8 infections wore trojan horse backdoor.generic.axrp and trojan horse downloader.banload.apjw. the files infcted wore firefox installer(downloader.banload) and the spoon sandbox firefox addon (7) (backdoor.genaric) are these all false positives? they never appeared in vista which i had just a few days ago.

    windows 7 ultimate
avg (most recent version, fully updated)

i think it is because they activate on their own, from what the site says
anyway try to download it from here
avg thinks its a virus because someone can use it(hacker) to run firmware in your computer without permission

odd, it could be that its infecting all the files, or theres something wrong with the antivirus.

malwarebytes antimalware is a good start. Make sure you get it from the official malwarebytes site.

    Ever tried Malwarebytes?
It found 43 infections I had that AVG never even found. It could possibly eradicate those said viruses as well.
