Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this but I need a couple of questions answered. I have decided to trim my ROMS so less space is taken up and have read that the Tokyo trimmer is the best. If I trim ROMS I have read elsewhere that it can stuff up those games with Wi-Fi connection and DSi games. Is this the case if I use the Tokyo one still or was that only the case with other means of trimming? If I play multi-player against someone with an untrimmed ROM will it still work properly? Thanks
Trimming can screw up games like Picross3D which use the ROM size to correctly find and download puzzle packs, and will do nothing to most but make the ROM smaller. Adverse effects are rare, but they do happen. Trimming won't have any effects on online play.
