Hi, What is your opion of translation patches? I don't find them needed when the game is going to be released in English! But when it is only released in say ... Japan then I can understand it is needed!
I agrre with you, unlike some people, I have patience, but if it is never going to be released, I need a patch.
Yeah, like the SS Translation they were working on, it wasn't even half way done when the game was realeased.
I think translation patches unless its a Multi 5( or is it Multi 6...ANYWAY..)game..because I don't know any other language other than English. But if its going to be released in a few days or a week or something I usually just wait.
Yeah, and you want to know what is even better then translation patches? Learning Japanese, Because then you can also watch anime and read manga that is is Japanese.
I wonder if there is a free language program available. That would be MUCH better the translation patches.
Translation patches are awesome. If not them, Namco X Capcom and Soma Bringer wouldn't be so enjoyable
As for me that speak portuguese_br as the native language, we got the pc games translated by the site GameVicio. It's a good job that they do, they get the game text files and modify using the notepad and overwrite the english phrases with portugueses, and also, not only subtitles but some tutorials on the corner of the screen, and some things on scenarios too. Then they made the pack and upload, we download and install, and also we can revert the process by uninstalling if we want. And they put their sign in, such as in resident evil 5, they changed the Capcom logo for their GameVicio logo. "GameVicio" means like "GameAddict".
Because you've got to decompile a game file and make the edits rather than just adding text in Movie Maker. That, and there's way more text in a game. Also, I don't care about translation patches. I can read Japanese, but if there's a game that I can't read it's likely to come out in English anyway and is therefore just an exercise in patience.
