transfer rate!! help!

    ok im using IE7 and my transfer rate dropped from bout 50kb/sec and now its at about 10kb/sec my question is what happened and how do i make my transfer rate higher??

    oh yea and im not on premium

    Did you mean when downloading game?

    If yes, try using Download Manager, such as Flashget, Orbit Downloader, or Free Downlaod Manager.
    It can boost your download speed a bit.

    generally its the quality of the connection and theres not much you can do about it. Or you're using bandwidth for something else, like torrenting.

    you could also try using firefox instead of IE as a web browser.

    yea it is when downloading games and i use a shared computer so i probably wont be able to download something as uhh whats the word contreversial
