Transfer pokemon from gen IV to gen V roms

I'm trying to see if there is a way to transfer pokemon from my Diamond rom to my black 2 rom. Is it possible?

 

You can use PokeGen to do that.
Download and information here.

1. Open your 4th gen savefile and extract the Pokemon (.pkm).
2. Convert your 4th gen .pkm to 5th gen .pkm with Poké Transfer (download).
Just drag and drop your .pkm files onto the exe.
3. Open your 5th gen savefile and insert your .pkm files.

Step 2 is optional, but I would recommend to do that.
If you don't convert your .pkm files some data, like met location will mess up.
You can skip step 2 if you don't care about that.

Did you extract the .pkm files from your gen 4 save?

Then just open your 5th gen save in PokeGen and drag and drop the extracted files onto the boxes on the right.
After that choose "File" -> "Save [save file]" or "Save [save file] as..."

 

Sorry, I figured it out. I got the pokemon in to Black, but their names show up as a bunch of question marks now.
*Edit* I skipped the second step because I'm not sure how it works. What do I do when I drag the .pkm file to the .exe?
**Edit** I got everything fixed now.

 

Back in my day, we had to manually convert this crap using Pokegen...

I'm gonna have to try this program out and see if I can get it to malfunction with special case .pkm files...
