Hiya, just want to let people know there are adverts circulating about a this company http://www.train2game.com/ ...very shiny, in newspapers, on leaflets, well I'm afraid its a scam. Yes you might say its obvious, but to young eager gamers it might not be, my son (22) answer the ad, I was there all through the interview, I'm 41, I'm not stupid, I was taken in, until the guy went, and my gut told me to check them out some more. Please be careful, there is not a lot of info about this company, purely because, they used to be trading under a different name. Different name, same con http://forums.digitaltrends.com/showthread.php?p=79169
looks fishy to me. Your son might want to check out the games courses at UCLan (University of Central Lancashire). They are one of the best in the country for those courses (and they're industry accredited, which is important). Check here: http://www.uclan.ac.uk/information/courses/bsc_hons_computer_games_development.php http://www.uclan.ac.uk/information/courses/ba_bsc_hons_computer_games_enterprise.php http://www.uclan.ac.uk/information/courses/bsc_3d_computer_graphics.php They had a games design course as well when I was there, but I can't find it now.
Took a look, it's a blatant screw over. Steer clear, they'll kill your wallet, try looking up Full Sail, it's a gaming college, and it's very cool, as they all are.
