??? I got BitTorrent because I wanted to download some ".torrent" files, but everytime I try to download any torrent, it just says that it's downloading and stays at 0%, no matter how much time I give it to download. Everything else runs fine on my PC. I have no idea what the problem is. I tried things like "uTorrent" and "Wyzo," but nothing works... :-\ :-\

it will take about 10 minutes before anything happens, and possibly you are downloading unseeded torrents.

Did you open your ports properly? If not then you won't be able to connect to people properly and thus won't get any data if there aren't a large amount of seeds.

Oh yay! I now have an excuse to shamelessly plug a link to my blog in a post.

This blog post was originally intended to some of my friends who don't believe in torrents believe that torrents are much slower than direct downloads. I just explain the most basic reasons why torrent downloads may be slow, or not work at all, on one's computer. If I'm not allowed to post this, I apologize.

Usually its a port problem, other than that check your firewalls. Some ISPs block torrent traffic so check that out too.

But like Loony said chances are its an unseeded torrent.
