Has anyone got one of these, looks a better thing to have than the chunky Tool battery Ive got.

These can be used as a normal battery-but because of past experience I wouldn't bother using it as a normal battery.

Anything not from the original company doesn't last me-every device that I own where I swapped to a 3rd party never lasted a day for me :(

But it's price is good-might make a good cheap replacement.

I was impressed by its comparison against the normal Tool battery-based on using it with a slim

Thinner,so you can put the back cover on-no chance of it breaking free half way though flashing
Dual functionality-maybe less capacity-but a couple of hours if needed.
Only 60p more than standard one.

I was a bit concerned about the extra bit of plastic sticking out of the bottom, but it could be cut off I suppose.

MDS,When I order a few things soon off of DealExtreme,I can post you the Tool battery I have here if you want it.Im going to spend a few hours looking through their site.....

    Wow-really?

    ..cost involved ;D

The battery might not be good for long term replacement but it's good until you locate a real sony batt.

Ill send it to you in about a month, when I get my stuff from DExt.That PSP phat I told you about(whole unit minus MB),I sent it to a guy in Canada and the postage was £4 Air mail UK to Canada. So since I gave him the stuff and paid for the postage myself,I wont worry about doing the same with the Tool battery LOL.

So basically, sending items Internationally can be a lot cheaper than one thinks....

Sometimes its nice to have an extra on hand just in case you loose one or have a spare NDS.
