too low bandwidth

    I live in the Philippines and currently im using a dsl connection with a speed of 384kbps. But im only receiving 8 to 10kbps which is before the site settle down I receive 40 to 56kbps. Can you do something about this? thanks!

    Yeah, I don't really think they can make your internet connection go faster or reduce the site's content just for you.

    No, we can't. Speeds are dependent on the path through the internet that the packets take, and we have no control over that, and the internet is currently running sub-optimally due to backbone failures. Additionally, download speeds are measured in kBps while connection speeds are measured in kbps, and you maximum possible download speed is 1/8 of your connection speed. for a 384kbps connection, 8-10kBps isn't a particularly bad speed.

    I ahve PLDT dsl over here in Cavite, but I only get like 4-20 kbs....

    There's nothing we can do about it, the Philippines are quite far away from where we host so the packets have to travel across the globe to you, we have the bandwidth to transfer at high speeds, I can get 1MB/sec when using a download manager and I know of people who has gotten even faster speeds.

    The only way we can improve downloads speeds are by getting another server closer to your location, which costs even more money and thus really isn't a viable option.
