    Hi everyone!

First off, I was wondering whether to introduce or not, since I had been a long time user of Romulation already, only that I never stepped foot in the forums. But since I am new to the forums, I guess it's only nice that I introduce myself properly (since i can't just say 'hi' now xD).

My real name's Ken, and I'm from Malaysia which is near Thailand and Singapore in case you need to wiki it :) I'm 22 this year with no kids, no wife and no girlfriend (yet), currently working towards a degree. Gaming-wise, I never really had the financial freedom to partake in the gaming industry's coloured history of various consoles and titles, but I did manage to snag some consoles here and there either through some serious begging from my parents or from kind friends who got me one.

I first started off with Snow Bros Jr when I was err...young, and played a few other titles like Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers from the 8-bit era. Moving on, my dad got me a Sega Mega Drive and I spent a fair bit of time playing Sonic titles, Sunset Raiders (which was awesome) and also Toy Story on that little black machine.

Eventually I moved on to PlayStation1 and that's when I did most of my serious gaming sessions I guess. First up would be Xenogears for being the epic RPG that it was. Final Fantasy Tactics was also a really wicked game for me back then, and sad to say I've not another game as brilliantly produced till today. Vagrant Story, Brave Fencer Musashi were also my favourites. Multiplayer gems would definitely include the Vigilante8 series, Road Rash and also Crash Bandicoot Racing. Oh yea, Crash Bandicoot 3 was awesome too :) On days when I'm not on my couch beating a big boss in Vagrant Story, I played Dance Dance Revolution though I could never hit those insane levels that require players to have four legs and six hands in order to survive :-\

On the portable side, I had a yellow GameBoy Pocket (stolen), a red GameBoy Color and a silver GameBoySP (gift from a friend). All time favourite titles were Pokemon Blue and Yellow, the first two games I bought. Yes, I spent countless hours pressing 'A' walking around with my Item Detector equipped. Yes, I swam up and down that silly island countless times just so I could have 99 rare candies. Yes, I absolutely loved them to bits :)

Since my PS1 however, I never had the chance to get my hands on another console. So I'm kind of outdated in that sense, but I still very much like holding a dualshock/any other gamepad in my hands, and executing Hadouken moves like it's pure muscle memory. I may play more PC games these days, but it was on the console that I really had a good time, both playing single player games and playing with my long-time partner-in-crime/cousin ;)

Nice to meet you guys, and nicer still to have a place like Romulation to revisit all those glorious gaming days.

    Cheers :D
