    Well. Do you guys think there are the need to upgrade from DSLite to DSi?

    Pricing difference goes up to 110 dollar for this 2 machine.

    Re: Help needed on flashcarts

    The CycloDS is generally considered the best, but it's not DSi-compatible. Out of the DSi-compatible flashcarts, you'd probably be best off with either a Supercard DSONEi, an M3i Zero or an Acekard 2i.

    Fortunately, the DSi does indeed play games, contrary to popular belief >_>

    It's just gonna use the extra memory, camera and memorycard usage I bet.

    Personally, the dsi is good if you never played a ds or bothered with gameboy games at all.

    But if you have gba carts then ds/dslite is the go.

    But if you want gb/gbc then your screwed :(

    Think of what you want from it and go-dsi is best for new owners...I own all 3 and know the pro's and cons-but it's the usage that defines them.

    GB/C games are almost perfectly emulatable on any DS.

    I'm going to have to go with this as well. I myself was one of the many, many people who, before the NDSi was released Stateside, found the DSi to be worthless. I got one as a gift though, and it's way better then anyone had said it was(at the time). For those who use the GBA Slot, keep your DSLite/DSBrick. But in all honesty, the loss of the GBA slot wasn't that big of a deal. Nothing's going to be made for the GBA anymore, it's dead. So why keep it? Waste of space.

    Not to mention the new stuff on the DSi outweigh the losses.

    I mean without an emu-and it's not perfect anyways, kingdom hearts gba has issues...or is that the psp one?

    Anyway-that's an old statment I used on gamespot-it does apply if no flash cards are used...

    And for some emulators are difficult to use-I know of the hassles I had.

    I got them working but not perfectly.

    Given that there is no GBA emulator, you must be thinking of the PSP one.

    well wnith the 1.4 update it going to make it kind of hard to play ds roms on the dsi. me i would go with a light or a normal ds the first one to come out but it depends on the person

    Uh, no. No it doesn't. And yeah, theres a GBA emulator for the DSi. Just need the DSiPlayer.

    There's an emulator now, but there wasn't one at the time of my last post in this thread.

    And no, it doesn't require a DSi. As long as you have an iPlayer, it'll work on any DS.

    Tell me. Isn't this a DSi topic? Did I not say for the DSi? Do I have to be that damn specific that I have to say it will work for all of them? The others have GBA Slots. They don't need it. >.>;

    Tell me. Don't the first couple of posts in this thread indicate that it wasn't originally a DSi topic? Did you not say that there is a GBA emulator for the DSi, implying that it's only for the DSi? Did you think noobs would automatically assume that it would work on a regular DS despite being told that it's for the DSi? Had you simply said DS, you'd be less likely to mislead noobs. They don't need that. >.>;

    I said DSi because it's main FOR the DSi. I don't really care about the noobs. The DS and DS Lite can use the EZV or something, they dont need the actual emulator. It's cheaper to do it with a flashcard for the GBA. And no, I didn't say it was only for the DSi. I said it was for the DSiPlayer, which is a flashcard, and ONLY for the DSiPlayer. Which is its actual name. DSiPlayer. Was originally the iPlayer. And the topic title says DSi or DSLite. I'm giving reasons FOR the DSi.
