well, i cant get akaio 1.7.1 to work- and i figured why; bulge on the front of my trusty ak2i, and a HWID of 80. Anyway, im pretty sure its a clone, or an early model. Im pretty satisfied with my current card, but im considering getting a new one for the following reasons- 1. i can no longer update (AFAIK) 2. some games have slow downs (maybe 1 in 10 games ive played) (for example, metal slug 7, iron man 2, castlevania OoE at some points) If i get another ak2i (a real one), can i say good bye to slow downs in games? Which cards (if any) don't have any slow downs? (im using a ds lite btw)

they charge a lil' extra at the site i use cuz of the guarantee...if you get a fake, contact them, set it up for it to ship to them, they investigate, and replace it..that's the reason it costs a lil' more there, and it's also free shipping but it depends on your wants, and the type of DS ou'll be using for which cart you get...if your using a DSi, get an SCDS2, if a DSL, get a CycloDS if you don't care for the GBA emulation the SCDS2 has...
any cyclods/scds2 users out there who can tell me about game lag/slow downs? if there aren't any, i know what im getting =)
