Yeah, but I have one that is about 283kb. It was in a folder called chickHEN, I think, for the PSP. After my friend flashed it, I found it in the Memory stick when I put it in my computer, so I can download homebrew. Do they have some sorta code in it? Like for PSP flashers and hackers?
I was trying to flash my other psp, and when I put the .tiff image in, and opened my PSP photos, it flashed green, and rebooted. I then checked my firmware, and it said ChickHEN R2. I now know what it does, and I have learned how to flash a 3000 psp in the process.
You have to remember that those aren't permament. They reset if the power on those goes off unless left on standby. And I guess the tiff exploit for psp could mean it could be used to expolit websites-best safe than sorry I guess.
Sony probably knows about the PSP 2000 and 3000 ChickHEN exploits using the TIFF exploits and so they don't allow TIFF images being posted, cause people could use that to trade the stuff between them in the guise of image sharing. Obviously Sony doesn't want Custom Firmware or other exploits being discussed, supported, or enabled, using their forums.
He just said "the PSP forums" so I assumed he was talking about the official Sony PSP forums. If you go there, they don't allow any discussion of Custom Firmware or any exploits.
I know chickHEN is not permanent. And, yeah, I meant the official forums. Custom firmware is not allowed in the official forums, guys get banned for talking about it.
