I'm an old fogey so some of you may not have even heard of mine. also, I wasn't big into going to concerts, I was just looking for a topic of discussion. my first concert was The Manic Street Preachers. (for those who don't know, they were part of the brit-pop phase we were into in the '90s, had a couple hits, biggest being If You Tolerate This Then Your Children Will Be Next) at some point in high school we went to see Beck do a killer all-acoustic very small venue. Area 2, which included organizer Moby; I went specifically to see David Bowie. Blue Man Group was also there. Maybe others. highlight of my life was seeing Paul McCartney, being a total Beatlemaniac. I cried. that's right, like one of those wacko little girls you see on old Beatles footage. that was me. your turn.
- one of the Three Tenors - Jack Johnson (this was good) - Simply Red - Ronan Keating I get sporadic work helping cater concerts, so I get into these for free. I think I've got another Simply Red one coming up soon.
never been to a music concert but I've seen a lot of musicals: grease fame the lion king starlight express phantom of the opera cats return to the forbidden planet (forced to go since it was a school trip, it sucked) chicago and probably a few others I dont remember
well, if that counts I've also been to see Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret apparently kids don't go to concerts anymore? I guess times truly have changed...
I thought a design for life was their biggest? I may be wrong, but thats my favourite manics album anyway. The new singles not bad, i'll download it sometime if I remember.
that song wasn't my favourite but the video was shown non-stop for weeks, I was under the assumption is was their biggest single but I don't keep track...
