Thousand arms disk 1

    Ok im at the part in the beginning after my character tries to rescue the chick and the sword breaks after which it cuts to a black screen and shows
    Girl: sound's like he's done...
    and that's where it gets weird it freezes yet doesn't...its not making any progress like a freeze yet i can still pause it...plz anyone!!! help!!! ???

    btw im running pSX 1.13

    Use ePSXe if possible.

    tried but it says it failed to start because zlib1.dll wasnt found

    google 'zlib1.dll', download it and place in the ePSXe folder.

    check your video plugin configuration.

    those are out of date I believe, there's a plugin pack linked in a sticked thread, try those plugins. Also, what graphics card do you have?

    sadly...none unless u count whats built into my motherboard...which has served me well enough for my psx emulator

    it won't be very capable though, you might have to try a 'soft' video plugin.

    1.77 are the latest. Maybe its a bad rip or a damaged cd. I'm also using a built in graphics accelerator (its an Intel onboard video graphics accelerator, and you all know that it sucks unlike other onboard ATI VGA ) and didn't encounter any problems while using those three plugins in thousand arms. Use the soft video plugin as a last resort because the pixels look bad. Maybe you could post here your computer specs so we can find the problem much quicker.
